AMD FirePro Unified Driver – Version 14.502.1019
AMD FirePro Unified Driver – Version 14.502.1019. - AMD has introduced a new version 14.301.1019 FirePro Unified Graphics driver developed for certain workstation video cards, which is compatible with both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 operating systems.
Specifications:
Eyefinity Pro:
- Eyefinity Pro provides users with the ability to expand display configurations beyond the output capabilities of a single graphics card.
- Use up to four graphics cards to drive up to 24 displays as a single desktop.
- A beta of this feature is now available through a special driver build option.
Eyefinity with 10-Bit Color Depth:
- Desktop configured in Eyefinity mode will now be able to drive projectors and displays that utilize 10-bit color depth.
AMD Freesync Support for Single GPU Product Configurations:
- AMD Freesync technology support is now available for single GPU configurations.
EDID Management With MST:
- EDID management provides the ability to emulate displays using the display’s EDID values.
- These values are retained by the driver so in the event a display is physically disconnected, the driver “remembers” the last display attached.
- This feature was originally designed for display walls with multiple displays attached to the graphics card.
- By enabling EDID management, display configurations are not reset (by the OS) if one or more displays is/are physically unplugged.
- By adding MST support, EDID management capability is extended to displays and monitors connected to MST hubs
Package Includes:
- Display Driver
- OpenCL Runtime
- DisplayPort and HDMI audio driver
- AMD Catalyst Pro Control Center
Known Issues:
- Flickering & tearing is observed while running Pulsar Stereo Sample in windowed & fullscreen mode
- Genlock regression using mixed monitor types
- Lower occupancy from VGPRs pressure
- Queuing 2 kernels which spills in the same queue give incorrect result
- [OpenCL Compiler] -cl-opt-optimisation impact the result in both AMDIL
- 10-bit and Virtual Super Resolution checkboxes are not mutually exclusive in CCC although functionality should be
- 64b addressing for OCL kernels under Linux is much slower than 32b addressing
- Corruptions/Black shade observed on certain application 3D models
- Setting DP 1.2 compatibility mode on ZR24x panel with daisy-chained panel may trigger soft recovery
- [Multiple Asic] View log report shows "AMD Radeon Graphics Processor" from 2nd ASIC
- Application does not responds for few seconds, while running 'SDIALLOCATION' test
- Transparency effect applied incorrectly
- Atikmpag component problematic on W5100 in some desktop configurations
- A mesh model in simulation mode may result in performance degradation
- Some stress tests may trigger soft recovery
- May experience instability when view switching in 3D animation software
- Instability observed when exiting 3D animation software
