AMD Radeon Embedded GPU/APU & R Version (15.201.1501/1701)&(15.101.1010). - AMD has rolled out a new Catalyst package developed for its embedded Radeon graphics and accelerated processing units (GPU and APU), namely version, (15.201.1501/1701)&(15.101.1010) graphics driver.

AMD has made available new Catalyst graphics packages targeted at some of its Embedded GPUs, G-Series SOCs, and R-Series APUs and SOCs, which ensure compatibility with Microsoft’s Windows 7 (both architectures), 8.1 64-bit, and 10 64-bit operating systems.

In order to be clear, the producer has provided the 15.201.1701 package, which provides support for certain Embedded GPU, G-Series SOC, and R-Series APU models, and which is basically the initial Windows 10 driver for these devices.

Moreover, the aforementioned file also implements general bug fixes and adds compatibility with AMD’s E8860 PCIe, E8950 MXM, WMS E8870 MXM, and E8870 MXM graphics cards.

Moving forwards, AMD has also offered two more Catalyst versions, namely 15.101.1010 for Windows 7 32- and 64-bit, and Windows 8.1 64-bit, as well as 15.201.1501 for Windows 10 64-bit, which is the first package to support the new Embedded R-Series DB-FP4 SOC.
